I enjoy Foodnetwork recipes, but rarely thoroughly liked any of Guy's recipes I had tried before this one. I feel Guy has really grown since winning "Next Foodnetwork Star" and is becoming more of a chef than his old image of a hip cook. I followed this recipe exactly, sans raisins because I don't like them, and served it at a holiday time meal. Wonderful! Its a really balanced dish of salty, sweet, sour, soft and crunchy. Thanks, Guy, for an innovative recipe. The pine nuts and capers really made this dish for me. I hope you continue to expand your repertoire.

I prepared according to the recipe, no changes, for a dinner party of 12. It was a great hit and everyone wanted the recipe. Even the people that said they did not like brussel sprouts loved this. I highly recommend.

I made these for Christmas Eve Dinner 2008 and they were a hit. This year I made them for the big Thanksgiving dinner (40 people, half children. I used 3 pounds of Brussels sprouts and substituted craisons for the currents and raisins. When it came time to clear the buffet table, someone mentioned that the only empty dish was the Brussels sprouts casserole! So many compliments and the kids kept asking where I got the baby cabbages. I had to send links to the recipe to 10 folks. Great recipe.

These were ok. Honestly, I prefer my recipe of salt and pepper. I also don't like the measurements he uses. Americans typically don't use pint to measure. You can get small dice pancetta at trader joe's for real cheap for those who were having difficulty. The best part of the recipe was the capers and pine nuts. It certainly wasn't bad but I think there are much better brussels sprout recipes on this website.

I tried this recipe and loved it. I also used green beans with it, and the rest of the family loved it even more. So this is now a favorite at holiday dinners made with green beans.

These were soooooooooooooooooooo good! I used turkey bacon instead of pancetta, craisins instead of currents & pecans instead of pine nuts because that's what I had on hand. My husband who HATES brussels sprouts even had seconds. He said to tell Guy "Thanks". This is definitely a keeper.

I did not use currants, raisins, or pine nuts. It was made on the fly and so I used bacon instead of pancetta. My family and I really enjoyed this preparation. We normally only saute the brussel sprouts in a little butter with garlic. This was a nice change.

We made this for a potluck with experimental eaters. It went over like gang busters. We weren't sure whether to make it with fresh currents or dried. We ending up with dried because of the raisins. It was a really great addition to the meal.
