Every time i make this recipe everyone wants the recipe. I do actually use a chipotle pepper food processed with the adobe because i get the adobe with the peppers. I think adding the pepper adds another great level to the sauce. Also let the sauce sit in fridge for 1-3 days before use. Letting the sauce sit allow for the flavors to really balance if used to soon the vinegar can be over powering. I have also prepped the wings by boiling instead of baking, almost as good and you don't have to heat up the house with the oven; and i make this in the summer for the grill when it is hot out.

We tried this recipe for a New Years Eve party. We love the ingredients! We cooked our sauce down and also used brown sugar to help cut the vinegar. The wings were a BIG hit! They had a nice bite and didn't burn the mouth like a Tabasco sauce. Love this recipe,will use again.

I think these wings are great. They are sooo full of flavor. I cook them all the time for my brother and they are both of our favs.

When I went to take a bite of these wings I started coughing instantly. I think there is too much vinegar for anyone to handle in this recipe.

My husband and daughter take in quite a few NASCAR races and their favorite venues the southern part of the country. You can't beat their wing and BBQ sauces. In California you can?t find any good sauce that can even hold a candle to the south?s, so when I found this recipe I tried it...It has been our ALL TIME FAVORITE ever since!!
