*** My family loved them. They were very easy to make and came out exactly the way he made them. My kids couldn't get enough. I will definately be making these again!!

He did not roll the eggrolls the "traditional way" he folded in the sides then rolled.. This really inspired us to make them since the regular way to roll the eggrolls isn't the easiest.

We made this last night and it turned out soooo good! However we did make a few minor alterations to Guy's recipe (i.e. baby greens instead of cabbage, no bamboo shoots, etc. and we fried our egg rolls in a lot less oil (about two inches deep...worked beautifully, but you have to make sure you keep an eye on them but all in all, this recipe came out absolutely tasty. We will definitely make again! Perhaps our only hiccup was an occasional tear in the egg roll skin after rolling, but it hardly affected the outcome in any real way. The food was just as good either way :

I am not sure if it was the brand of egg roll wraps that I used.. but they were not easy to roll very tightly. Also... make sure to keep the temperature of the oil at 350 or else the inside wont cook before the outside burns. Otherwise they were very tasty! Will make again!

Granted, I had to use filo dough because I couldn't find the wonton wrappers but this is seriously hard to make. I don't usually mind a lot of ingredients and think of myself as a pretty decent cook but I don't think the flavor was worth all the hassle. I saw Guy make these yesterday and I ran out. I am sure it was me but now I know why Guy is sometimes frantic when he is cooking! There was a lot to do!

Next time I try these, it WILL be with the proper wrappers and I will be adding some other spices like a bit of crushed red pepper and maybe some stir fry sauce instead of just soy sauce.

These egg rolls were just as descriped. Delicious. It does take a bit of time for preparation so if you have a Chinese restaraunt nearby that makes good egg rolls, this may not be a recipe that you want to waste your time on. But, the egg rolls do come out great.

All the different ingredients makes it kind of a hassle but it pays off in the end, What a taste Great recipe. Thanks Guy.

This was easy and delicious. It was just want I needed to give a different kick to the same old chicken. We eat a lot of chicken and ground turkey in our family and when my daughter said she was tired of chicken, I had to find another way to deliver it. It was a big hit with my teenager and my husband.

I will definitely make these Egg Rolls again. Very tasty. One tip - be sure to roll them tight so that you do not have gaps at the end. If the oil gets inside, they are not as good. My husband and I had this for dinner and then for lunch the next day - plenty for several people for an appetizer, or for a group of 4-6 for dinner.

These came out so good!!!!!! I altered a few things, but my 21 year old son who won't eat half the ingerdients loved them. I made about 20 with that recipe and I still had filling left over. The chili sauce was readily available in my supermarket and while I thought I wouldn't like it, it was great. It's not hot like I thought and had great tang to it. I felt like a real chef preparing these and they will now be added to my regular recipes. By the way great for a Sunday football game, especially when my team (Eagles wins!! Enjoy!!
