My husband & I made these together the other night for dessert. We made half with raspberries & the other half without. I liked both. But we really enjoyed without the berries. I also tried some dunking one in strawberries with sauce that I liked better then the raspberries. To each his own. All & all they were YUMMY. We will be making these again real soon!!!!! Great easy recipe to have kids help with.

I left the berries out as well and made it for my roommates. I could only find thin egg roll wrappers so I got those and just doubled up. It turned out to be perfectly crispy! I will definitely make this again. :

Loved it! I left out the berries and next time I think I will drizzle over it. As per the previous post I will try baking as well.

So easy and so yummy!!! Your family and friends will think you spent so much time preparing this elegant-looking dessert, but it is really easy. I really want to try some of the reader's variations. They sound delicious.

WOW, I saw this recipe and knew I had to try it! I've never made egg rolls before (kinda scared of the process, I guess. I made theese for Super Bowl Sunday and they were the HIT of the party!! I went to the market, but the berries didn't really look nice and fresh, but I knew I had bananas at home. I essentially made bananas foster for the filling. Melted butter in a skillet, added brown sugar and sliced bananas. Made the cream cheese filling as per Guy's recipe. topped it with the bananas foster, rolled and fried. I added a bit of the glaze from the bananas to the whipped cream. It was amazing, Guy! Thanks for the incentive! My 15 year old son and I spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what else we can put in egg roll wrappers and cook up!

    I MADE THESE TWICE.

    1. I MADE IT LIKE A REVIEWER SAID B/C BERRIES AREN'T IN SEASONS REALLY. I FRIED UP MY EGG ROLLS AND PUT THEM IN VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM AND DRIZZLED CARMEL OVER THE ICE CREAM AND EGG ROLLS. I PERSONALLY DIDN'T LIKE IT BUT MY MOM LOVED IT SHE SAID IT TAESTED LIKE FRIED ICE CREAM.

    2. THIS TIME I WANTED TO USE THE BERRIES HOPING IT WOULD TURN OUT BETTER. SO I BOUGHT FRESH STRAWBERRYS AND STRAWBERRY GEL (THE STUFF YOU USE FOR STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE i PUT ABOUT 3TABLESPOONS OF THE STRAWBERRY GEL INTO THE CHEESE MIXTURE. ONCE I WRAPPED THEM UP AND FRIED THEM I MADE HOME MADE WHIP CREAM AND SPRINKLED CHOPPED STRAWBERRIES ONTOP.

I LOVE THIS RECIEPE AND SO DID MY MOM AND FRIEND. IT'S EASY AND FUN. =]

Local resteraunt has something very similar to this, so i used the recipe, and instead of the raspberries (which they used also--a raspberry puree i served with vanilla bean ice cream (dont go cheap...really, use the real vanilla bean icecream--worth it! and made a caramel sauce to drizzle over...YYYYUUMM!!!!
