This is absolutely by far the best cobbler/crisp recipe I've ever tried. I use the topping recipe for all my fruit cobblers. LOVE IT!!!!

This recipe was "the bomb!" I loved it. I followed the recipe almost exactly with 2 exceptions...I added about 1 cup of water with a tsp. of vanilla flavoring. This made it more like a cobbler to me with an awesome flavorful crust/topping.

Yummy! I would have preferred to use fresh peaches. My frozen peaches were not too flavorful, resulting in a good peach "cobbler" but not a peachy "cobbler".

Yummy, yummy YUMMY!!! This cobbler has great, easy to follow instructions & great flavor. I substituted 1 cup pecans instead of 1/4 cup almond slices since I love them so much. This huge cobbler disappeared in 1/2 hour or less...lots of lip-smacking & praise going on from happy friends. If you want to make a dynamic impact on a potluck, this is the dessert to make!!! Loved it and plan to make it often!!!

Good grief this is good. I cut the recipe in half since it's just hubby and me. We loved the cranberries (we eat them a lot. This is a keeper for sure.

This recipe is out of hand. I was looking for more of a "crisp" to make this year with fresh peaches. This was it, not sure why it's called a cobbler. Regardless of the silly name, it had so much flavor and the crunchy brown sugar topping is amazing...way better than dough on a cobbler or pie. I did make a few changes based on my personal taste: fresh peaches, 1 c. chopped pecans instead of almonds, and I left out the dried cranberries. I also added about 1/3 cup of bourbon to the peach mixture. You can't go wrong there. I will make this recipe time and time again, and try it with frozen peaches when the fresh ones are not in season.

Great recipe. I used fresh peaches and it was great. I also didn't have almonds so substituted chopped pecans--yumm! I added a little extra oatmeal to the topping too. I will certainly put this in my "keeper" pile!
