These kicked major... butt! My son is the pickiest eater I have ever seen and HE even loved them. All my kids (7, 5, and 4 I thought were gong to get sick they ate so much of them. There may be some wasted liquid at the end but that's just cooking! Thanks Guy, believe it or not, my son Nathan sees your son, Hunter cooking with you and so in turn, Nate wants to and loves to cook with me! I am going to do these again for Thanksgiving and specifically for Christmas as my father-in-law is flying from California to Kentucky to be with us. Again, Thanks Guy. Oh, a little garlic was added and perked up the turnips. Rock on my good man.

We have never really had turnips so this recipe looked interested. The taste was ok, but we would prefer just regular mashed potatoes. Or, maybe adding a little garlic would be good. Also, didn't like the fact that there is so much wasted milk at the end.
