I made the recipe exactly. My crust burned the first time so I tried again and then it was soggy. The flavors are good and maybe it's just me, but I tried twice and both times the crust was inedible. BUT the greenbeans from this episode are to die for! Make sure to try that recipe!

I am not a fish eater so I try lots of new recipes hoping to find one I'll eat since it's healthy for you. This is wonderful! The potato mixture is also good on cod and shrimp.

I just watched this episode - What this recipe fails to mention is Guy cooked this at 200 for 20 minutes after the pan fry.

I saw this while looking for a hailbut dish. I read the comment from Ronnie regarding the change up from fish to chicken. I liked the idea of playing around with BBQ sauce so I did my own experiment. For the potato crust I used Trader Joes BBQ sauce, olive oil, gradulated onion and garlic, apple cider vinegar panko and Dr. Praeguers all natural sweet potato cakes. Marinated chicken thighs and breasts (cut up to same size as thighs in a dry seasoning (Bone Suckin Sausce, worcestershire, white wine vinegar and lemon for an hour. Pan fried for about 15 min. total. Served it with a spicy horseradish coleslaw by Emeril.
My husband and I loved it!! Thanks for the recipe and the suggestons!

Come on people, this recipe is easy and tastes good. If you don't like Guy then fine, but this fish was a winner in my house. No leftovers at all.

This was a good recipe. I didn't have tater tots, so I grated potatoes instead. I rolled them in a kitchen towel to remove extra water, and then mixed them with the ingredients. I added an egg white just in case. It turned out perfect! I would make this again.

My family is not much into seafood so we tried this recipe with chicken and it came out really good. I decided to play around with it one day and instead of doing asian spices, I used BBQ sauce and worcestershire with some cumin and paprika. Put it on top of a hamburger patty and proceeded to fry it. It was a huge hit with all of my friends that were at the house that day. Thanks Guy for some great ideas.

I tried this recipe and it just didn't turn out right. Didn't like the flavor, and the kids were repelled by the aroma. Spent a week trying to air out the kitchen. Even the dog whimpered when we put the leftovers in his bowl. Sorry Guy, it just didn't work.
