    IThis was my first time ever baking asparagus with Panko bread crumbs, Parmesan and Italian spices, etc. I have always done asparagus in a pan with a little water, or steamed. I followed this recipe with one alteration, a dash of cayenne pepper. This recipe enhanced the taste of my asparagus and also had an awesome crisp crunch to it! Very Yummy and served with chicken. I received a thumbs up from my family for my first attempt!

    Never thought of breading my asparagus before..... these were the Bomb! I loved them..
    I will be making these again soon. Easy to make and ready in minutes. You gotta love the crunch!!! Made just have the recipe for 2 people.... 1 egg white and 2 tsp of mayo! Perfect!

    Delicious! I didn't have grated parm, so I added a little extra salt to make up for it. The mayonnaise/egg whites idea was fantabulous.

    I added smoked paprika instead of regular paprika and the result was amazing! very crunchy and flavorful!

    I figured these would be great, but they weren't. Like the other 2-star reviewer, there was no flavor. There was a nice crunch, but the flavorless planko drowned out the flavor of the asparagus. Most were left on the serving plate.

    This was great. I like asparagus but I hate to eat it cold. ie it cools down by the time I take it to the table with any other recipes I have tried. This has the asparagus stay warm and crunchy! And one can add as much seasonings as you wish!

    we were very disappointed with this recipe. No flavor. We did end up adding some cayenne and other seasonings to the panko/parmesan mixture to give it some flavor.
