This is one of the best chicken recipes I've seen: very simple ingredients, easy to make and full of wonderful flavors. Warning: if you don't like ginger, odds are you may not like this recipe. It does not mean the recipe is not good. But it is for the ginger eaters

From reading the reviews I think that the addition of at least a tablespoon of Chipotle Tobasco sauce might be just what is missing to give this the neded zing.

This is NOTHING like I thought it would be. After all, garlic, onions, ginger, soy sauce and orange juice seem like a really nice combination and I was sure the negative reviews were from people who are garlic and/or onion, possibly ginger haters who just wanted to give this recipe a try. Well, I love all those ingredients and this recipe was borderline gross! I really expected much more from Guy!

This was a great recipe. Everyone needs to tweek a recipe to suit their own taste. Anyone that makes it exactly how it is and has a negative comment is not a good cook.

I wanted to like this, I really did. I love Guy, ginger and garlic so this should be perfect. Sadly the favors were just ok. It sorely needed something to take it from blah to WOW. Maybe chili paste as another reviewer suggested? not sure I'll even try to tweak it. :-(

Searching for chicken recipes since I am not a big chicken eater, I decided to try this recipe. Marinating the chicken thighs overnight I baked the chicken for 30 minutes, then broiled it for 8 more minutes and it was absolutely delicious and juicy. I love ginger so used more of it.

This was just OK. I used bone-in thighs AND I marinated for 2 days. I didn't have real ginger so I used ground ginger. I roasted them at 450 for about 45 minutes. They were SO juicy, but I only tasted garlic. Slightly dissapointed.

This was one of the best tasting chicken ever said my son Kevin Jr.
This is simply the best of both world. Easy ingredients, easy prep, and cooking time is not long at all.....for sure i will be making this dish again.

I'm always on the search for good, easy chicken recipes (like everyone else, I assume and this one fits the bill. The recipe is easy enough for week nights and uses ingredients I usually have on hand all the time. It also seems to lend itself to tweaking without fear (I'll try one reviewer's suggestion of adding chili paste next time. I only marinated it for an hour, but will go overnight next time if I can. I also thought of making the marinade into a sauce by cooking it down next time too.

I marinated this for about 2 hours before grilling it on a charcoal grill. I was truly surprised.. it was very flavorful.. I really don't like ginger but wanted to try this and It was good.
