This salad is the best. Will make it often. Chopping is fun when you have a good knife. Thanks Guy

I was interested in this salad when I saw it on a episode. I made a special trip to the asian market (because my local ones don't sell diakon for some reason. This was pretty good! I do like the idea of a endamame salad since I love them so much. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the ginger. And I am a person who LOVES ginger so Im not sure why I didnt like that flavor in the salad. I will make this again but maybe tone the ginger down (or omit it completely. Thanks for a cool recipe! :

Heather from L.A. must have done something very wrong. We tried this at home and loved it. We cut down a notch on the wasabi powder and the chili sauce and substituted regular radishes but otherwise followed the recipe. We had a block party and decided to see how it went over. The salad bowl was empty before any of the others (in fact it was the only salad bowl emptied and we received 6 or 7 requests for the recipe. This is a great leafless, root vegetable salad with a somewhat spicy kick. Shelling the edamames is a pain, but well worth it. Made this with the Asian Street Sandwiches-a great combination. Thanks Guy.

I made this last night for the first time. I did leave out the Red Pepper because I do not like red peppers. Tasted great right after I made it. Tasted 100 times better after I let it sit overnight in the fridge. I now have a different kind of salad to bring to those summer grill out parties!

This is a great, refreshing summer salad. I made it for some "foodie" friends. They all loved it!
