I'm surprised most of the reviews are about the dressing, which is in fact very good and I typically am not a ranch dressing fan. But it's the croutons that are amazing. They are a little spicy but they were a perfect combination with the cool ranch. My guest were just eating the croutons right out of the container.

This was scrumpdillyishes!! MMMMM Love this stuff. I have been searching for years for the perfect ranch dressing. This is it! I had to tweek it a little, due to lack of some of the ingredients. I used dill pickle juice in place of the vinegar and dill . I did not have buttermilk so I added lemon to my milk , just a splash. I also cut back on the milk because I like a thicker dipping dressing. I used garlic salt too just a little. Thanks for this awesome dressing.

Love Guy Fieri, love Triple D, but this ranch dressing is awful. WAY too much garlic, gives it a bitter taste.

Great flavor, just perfect balance of buttermilk & garlic. My whole family loved it and said it was the best ranch dressing they ever tasted. We used it to dunk our home made wings in & was perfect for that too.

Made this last night but my family didn't care for it. Was 'very' peppery. Tasted nothing but garlic when you got through eating it. I like Guy, but will look for another Ranch Dressing that my family would like better.

I have made this dressing many times and passed the receipe on to friends and co-workers. My family loves it, and my brother requests it when we have family get togethers. I substitute the chives for shallots and have used red onion finely chopped (because these things I always have on hand. One tip I've learned from Rachel Ray is to use a microplane for the garlic (this reduces the amount of salt needed and is less work. No longer buy bottled dressings, once you've experienced the difference fresh ingredients make can't go back commercial brands.
Thank Guy.

Absolutely the best Ranch dressing I have ever tasted or made. I am very well experienced in the kitchen and I would not adjust a thing. I used low fat buttermilk and mayonnaise the second time I made it. It saved a lot of calories and the taste was just as good as the full fat version.

This was very good. I think next time I may try less buttermilk for a dressing that's a bit thicker.

There is quite a bit of prep work for this recipe, but my boyfriend and I did it together (which was fun, and the result was an amazing salad. I am a salad fan, I could eat it for every meal, but never have I ever had a salad I savored as much as this salad (and it felt good that we made it ourselves. The dressing is phenomenal. I personally prefer thinner salad dressings because a little goes a long way and it did have great flavor. I enjoyed this so much. I used the grease from my bacon and I used it to fry some jerk chicken and I made herb-roasted potatoes as my side. Overall, a great meal. Better than anything you could get at a restaurant.
