Used lite mayo and sour cream. Very tasty. Many compliments at the party.

not a ranch fan, and thanks to another poster I have finally figured out why - dill is probably the only herb that I can't stand. I never tried enough of it to figure out what was in there!

that said, I have been looking for a crouton herb blend that's better than just garlic and salt. this blend is probably the best I've found. after trying it out as-is a couple times, though, I started tweaking things. personally, I prefer swapping out the cayenne pepper for the same amount of a cajun blend. it gets comments and compliments every time I bring a salad anywhere. thanks!

ENJOYED THE TASTE OF THE DRESSING, BUT NOT THE CONSISTENCY. I THINK I WILL DO CLAIRE ROBINSONS RANCH DRESSING AND ADD THE HERBS FROM GUY. ALSO, THE CROUTONS WERE A BIT SPICY AND TOOK AWAY FROM THE DELICACY OF THE HERBS IN THE DRESSING. IF YOU LIKE YOUR CROUTONS SPICY AND REALLY CRUNCY,THESE ARE FOR YOU. I DO ENJOY YOUR SHOW, GUY, BUT FIND THE TELEVISION IN THE BACKGROUND DISTRACTING.

I made this salad tonight, to go with our dinner of grilled steaks. It was fabulous. I must say that I didn't have buttermilk or sour cream on hand, so I was unable to make the dressing in this recipe, so I had to serve it with store bought Ranch dressing I had on hand. Even without the homemade dressing, this salad was superb. I also used pancetta for regular bacon, as that is what I had in my fridge. My husband and I really thought this salad was easy and delish. I look forward to making it again, when I will make sure to have all ingredients on hand for the dressing as well. Thank you Mr. Fieri for a fabulous salad recipe!

I made this for my extended familiy dinner last Sunday night and everyone loved it. My sister n law loves salads and love this one so much she called me the next day to say she wanted the recipe as she hadn't stopped thinking about it. My parents don't care for spicy food so when they first tried a croutons alone they felt they were too spicy but once you assemble the salad, the cool dressing was a perfect compliment to the spicy crouton. Bravo!

My family loves ranch dressing and making it was so easy. I love making my own croutons and these were really good with the dressing. My only thing was I'm not a spicy person these days and next time I won't put as much pepper as it calls for. Other than that these are a keeper. Thanks Guy!

My Family and Guests absolutely loved this salad dressing, and the croutons are out of this world. in the past I used to waste a lof of good bread because it got hard. I actually used a week old very hard piece of Italian store brand bread to make the croutons. They turned out beautifullly. I put strips of fresh parmesan on the salad and it was the best I have had. Next time I will add avocados to the salad.

This recipe is awesome. I doubled the dressing recipe to keep it on hand.
Can't wait to have it again today! I don't think I'll doulble the garlic portion of it tho. I was breathing flames for a while after dinner last night. 86
