I am a believer! This turkey was so tender, juicy and amazingly good! This was my first experience brining but I am sure glad I tried this out. I did have to pull a "McGyver" and make my own roasting rack because none of my baking pans were wide enough to accommodate the baking racks that I had. Fortunately the one I made was more than sufficient... And this was the best turkey recipe ever. Thanks Guy!

Wonderful turkey breast!! The only thing different I did was I used two boneless turkey breasts from the freezer section rather than buying a whole turkey and removing the pieces. It came out amazingly juicy. Even my picky husband raved.

Outstanding -- my husband said this was the BEST ever! This is the 5th year I've brined a turkey breast, and it is certainly well worth the extra time. I was out of Sage so I used Rosemary instead, and added 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce to the brine (based on another very highly rated recipe. I omitted the salt from the rub. I will certainly use this recipe from now on. Thanks Guy!

I have used this recipe for several years now and it is by far the best turkey recipe I have ever used. I do however, cook the entire bird not just the breast.

The turkey breast turned out very juicy, but despite the assortment of herbs, not much flavor. However,we like out turkey to taste like turkey, so no complaints from here. If you are looking for a very flavorful turkey, this will not float your boat. Will cook the same way again next year, but I see no need to put together the rub.

Where is the recipe I watched him do on the program? This is not it at all. Great reviews here, but which one is it for? Pastrami type smoked in the oven...or the recipe as it is printed here? Thanks.

I usually use Alton Brown's brine and have been very pleased with it. I decided to give Guy's brine a go, mainly, because I had every ingredient in the pantry. Somehow, the turkey was even more exceptional than usual! Flavor and sweetness just perfection. Do not pass this brine up because there are only 7 comments and Alton and Tyler have hundreds on theirs.

I roast my turkey breasts to 165 degrees internal temp. Alton advises roasting till 161 but I find the texture of the turkey is like very raw steak and prefer the extra few degrees.

I will now stay with Guy's brine, so easy and gets the job done.

Your family is so perfect....I would have to "buy" an Ozzie and Harriet family to go on TV....you're a lucky man Guy. Love watching DDD.
