I made this for Easter dinner and it was really good. It was very easy to prepare. Anyone should be able to follow this recipe. I highly recommend it.

I made a few minor changes to the recipe - I left out the molasses of the brine because i smoked the turkey and didn't want it too be too sugary. I also added a touch of cayenne pepper to the rub. This turkey was by far the most moist I have ever made, smoked or otherwise. My family loved it and will definitely be making it again. Guy definitely hit a home run with this one!

Guy, my family said BEST EVER!! It was moist and the brine and rub brought out the flavor of the turkey without overpowering it in the least. Thank you so much. Oh, and thanks for telling me to start temp testing at one hour.

Guy fired a bullseye with this recipe! This was my first solo flight with the Thanksgiving dinner (fiance's birthday so I took over and this recipe couldn't have been any better. The brine made the turkey moist and very flavorful. The rub was the right combo of tastes and also helped fill the house with an incredible delicacy of aroma. I don't want to wait for another holiday to try this again. Thanks Guy!!!!

This was the juciest and best tasting turkey I have ever made!!! Much easier than I imagined as I have never brined a turkey before. I wish I made more since, for the first time ever there was not alot left over.

Ive never brined a turkey in my life but I will never NOT brine a turkey from here on out!

I was looking for an easy recipe that wasnt going to cost much. And since most of the herbs was in my cupboard, this was IT!
It was so simple and not at all intimidating.

This turkey was absolutely SCRUM DIDDLY DUMPTIOUS!!!
Tender and juicy all the way to the last piece carved. And the flavor was just mmmmm.

    Thanks Guy! You rock!
