To the user that complained "The recipe posted on your page is a drink."
Duh! Read RECIPE FOR CRIPES SAKE! It is a yummy drink that tastes like German Chocolate Cake. It was never supposed to be a cake recipe.
Also, don't give please don't give poor ratings to recipes based on what you think is a technical error on the part of the website. Rate them based on flavor/ how they turn out. When people browse the website, that is what they look at the ratings for.

I haven't tried this particular drink, but I LOVE chocolate cake shots. I have one every year for my birthday, even though I don't drink liquor the rest of the year. : I do agree to use vanilla vodka instead of citrus, and bite the lemon after you take the shot. It is delicious. I highly recommend this. :

As a bartender I make this often. It tastes much more like cake if you use vanilla vodka instead of citrus vodka. Also I would suggest that you sip the drink THEN bite the sugared lemon.

I served this as part of dessert at a dinner party. I made the shots and placed them on a plate with the lemon. It was such fun and everyone really enjoyed them. Everyone loved it. It's a great novelty at a dinner party. Thanks!

Four of us tried this drink and we all agree....our taste buds just didn't go to German Chocolate Cake though the drink was drinkable. Sorry!

To say this tastes EXACTLY like german chocolate cake in a little bit of a stretch, but it does come close.

I am totally amazed how this really tastes like a German Chocolate Cake. My BH doubted it until he tried it. This is a great after dinner drink for those who like the "sweets" in life but want a tad bit less calories (grin.

I am a bartender and have been aware of this recipe for the past few years. Mosst people think Iam crazy when I make this suggestion for a dessert drink, but after they drink it they are suprised that it really does taste like a german chocolate cake. I am so glad you are promoting this awesome dessert.
