Über sweet and I used twice the vodka. Will try it again using
Ginger beer instead of ginger ale. The apple wedge tasted fantastic
when I ate it. Unfortunately the drink is way too sweet for my taste.
I will play with it though!

Loved it. Made this last year for Christmas, making it again this year. Fun and festive without being too heavy. I mixed up the vodka and cinnamon schnappes in a batch, poured some into each glass then topped with the ginger ale.

My husband and I did not care for this. The sugar topping for the glass rim was yummy, but the drink itself wasn't very good. We ended up eating the sliced apples we were going to use for garnish, and dipped them into the sugar mixture for a little treat :

The Gingerbling has become a holiday must for my family and friends. IUse Ginger Beer in place of the Ginger Ale. The Ginger Beer gives the cocktail a great "snap".
