OMG! I made these for a dinner party and what a winner! Everyone went nuts over them, even my picky 6 year old! I did 2 things a little different.... first, instead of the the crab boil thing I just boiled them and second, I eliminated the cayenne only because of the little ones.... and they were still amazing! Definitely a keeper :

easilly requested & travels easilly a distance if placed in a slow cooker--prepared as stated then simply transport into buffet server with warming trays or slow cooker for a crowd--not too healthy for the waist & heart though :< PLEASE ADD NUTRITIONAL INFO for those who are not quite healthy & thus dit restricted

how can you go wrong with butter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon?!?! The only thing i would've done differently is use 5 lbs of potatoes instead of 3, so it wouldn't be quite as rich.

My husband and I have been making these potatoes ever since we seen the show air. They never disappoint and whenever we have made them for potlucks or family BBQs the batch is completely gone by the end of the party. Everyone loves them. Thank you Guy for an awesome dish that was super easy to make!!

I have made this several times for family and friends, and they absoultly rave over it. But i have cut some of the fat out of it and nothing has changed.
Instead of regular sour cream, i replaced it with light sour cream. And the Butter, even though i can't live without it. I replaced it with margarine. With cutting down these 2 items, it does cut down on some of the richness, but doesn't really affect the actual dish. I have 20 years of foodservice management expirence, so i kinda know my way around the kitchen. I cooked this for several people and they never knew the changes i made.

Oh my Goodness, My hubby made this dish last night for dinner and he doesn't cook that often. But, if he keeps following Guy's recipe, we may have to make him the cook around here. This truly is the BEST potato dish I have ever eaten. And, potatoes are my favorite food. This potato dish ROCKS. We love watching you Guy. Your personality shines. And, your dishes are fabulous. Just keep up the GREAT job you do.

Oh my gosh!!! The moment I tasted these potatoes, I slapped the table hard in mere spicy, cheesy, gooey potato-y enjoyment!! These are rockin' knockin' sockin' good potatoes that definetly have a spicy kick due to the crab boil and my husband and I love them! Move over twice baked potatoes; you are history!
Thanks Guy!!

this was very good except, i didn't like the the crab boil.I had to cut some of my potatoes in half so they would all cook the same.It just didn't taste right on the cut potatoes.I will make this again but I'm not going to cook them in the crab boil.
