Way to much salt and pepper for me. I think 3 tbsp of flour was a bit much too. It was awful thick. It was alright but not great. I will probably try it again but make a few changes.

If there were negative stars, this recipe would get them. Completely tasteless, lots of unnecessary chopping. The amount of flour was too much, it became thick and gummy. NEVER AGAIN

This recipe was great I have made it several times without the wine. My family loved it. I am not a cook and I am looking forward to more of your shows Guy. Thanks

Too much chopping for something that's so forgetable.

I was thinking of trying this recipe but I always look at reviews first. I just saw the episode and I did see him use the tomatoes he added them on top after he added the bacon wish are both after everything else is cooked. Not too many great reviews for this but I already bought all the ingredients wish me luck with all the chopping and dicing...

I am still chuckling at the slip-ups in this recipe--but I think it's worth it. On TV Guy says there is garlic in this--but I think he got confused with the salmon dish he was also making. On TV he forgot the tomatoes but topped the dish with bacon at the end. In the online recipe, the bacon is fried and forgotten! In the written preparation so are the tomatoes but at least they are listed as an ingredient. So leaving the 'sauce' and celery out (personal preference--too watery and topping the corn mixture with tomatoes and bacon, I have a winner! It's a great way to enjoy all this fresh corn that won't be around forever. If it's not spicy enough for you, give it a shot of Tobasco.

not that it's that hard to figure out but the directions make no mention of the roma tomatoes in the ingredients list. the flavor is ok but nothing special. too much cutting involved for the end result. i'm not impressed.

I loved this recipe and it worked well with the cedar plank salmon. I thought about using jarred peppers but wanted the authentic taste first. It's a bit of work and chopping but worth it.
