My husband is in the military and goes overseas to Germany constantly and all I hear about is this dish! I wanted to bring it home to him and WOW! It was perfect and he said just as good! Thanks to this easy and amazing recipe it was all possible. I had never tried it and I look forward to comparing it to the real jagerschnitzel in Germany..although mine was pretty fabulous!

Just made this for first time after seeing Guy make it months ago. My husband and son couldn't stop ummmmh-ing. I have to say I made it without the bacon as I don't like it at all and they agreed it was fantastic even without it. I bought boneless pork chops and it did take time to pound them thin but it was worth it. My son who never eats mushrooms ate them in this gravy. I even bought the spaetzel and made broccoli au gratin but next time we will have red cabbage and applesauce in place of the broccoli. This recipe made it into our "favorites" binder. Thanks Guy!

Cooked this for the boys at the fire dept. We need cheap, good, filling meals. This did it and it will become a regular.

This is a good recipe, very tasty, but very time consuming. Here is my full review:

What an increditable flavor. Coming from a German background I found this to be very authenic. The pork was crisp and very tender. The gravy was excellent just full of flavor. We also made the spaetzle, and Roasted carrots and onions. Couldn't find Cippolinio onions, I used boiling onions cut is half. I also threw in a couple of pototes quartered Great taste. We added this to our recipe collection and we are looking forward to having our friends over next month for German night. Hopefully they will like this as much as we did. You the man Guy!!! Keep it coming.

This is a fantastic recipe! The pork was moist, flavorful and crispy!!!! Add the mushroom gravy to that over mashed potatoes and it was the perfect combination. I added a touch of cream to the gravy as a finishing touch. My husband and boys (ages 8 & 4 loved it and asked when I was going to make it again....as they fought over the last piece. The recipe was easy, I had dinner on the table in under an hour. What a great Fall comfort meal. Guy, you are off the hook! We love your recipes.....

This was great! My family enjoyed it. I used beer in the gravy instead of wine.
The pork was tender and crispy. It was tasty. It will be a recipe in my collection.
