Every bit as good as advertised. I made it zactly as written. My kids said it was a bit too spicy for their young and otherwise uninformed taste buds, but my wife and I, on the other hand, thought it was juuuuuuuuust right.

$$MONEY$$ Carnivore's dream. I used the refridgerated-dough french loaf for the sandwiches, delicious. Takes a little time and effort to put it together, but worth it.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not, but mine was very juicy for a sandwich to me. So we ate it over rice and it was MONEY! This is the most flavorful sandwich that I have ever made. It did get kind of pricey and it did require quite a bit of chopping as most of Guy's recipes do, but worth every dime to me. This is a keeper whether we eat it over rice or bread...it's just good regardless.

I love this recipe. I add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of chicken broth. Changing it into a stew, we avoid the bread carbs, but enjoy all the flavor.

This was unbelievably good--my entire family loved it! Only downer is that by the time you purchase all the meat it can get pretty expensive.

We made this for a birthday party and it was well received. Of course we quadrupled the recipe to account fot the amount of guests. The original recipe seems to make more than just two sandwiches, however Guy used big bread for his. Good stuff though.

Am definitely making this one for the next family gathering...just based on the reviews. thanks to all who gave suggestions for changing up the recipe. I like recipes that can be made in a crockpot since we "potluck" at work 1-2 times per month. This will be a big hit.

Killer sandwich. A meat lovers dream. I made it for a couple of people we had over for dinner last night and it was a huge hit. I added 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes with garlic at the beginning of simmer time. Made a sweet and spicy coleslaw who most put on the side, not me, piled it right on the sandwich. Can't wait for the next opportunity to make this one again. At a boy Guy!
