Awesome recipe! I'm from Louisiana where jambalaya is a meal we have often. This recipe is a great twist to ordinary jambalaya. Everyone always asks for the recipe after they taste it.

This is seriously the best recipe I've ever found online! My fiance's family is a huge Mexican clan and they all ask me to make this for every party we have!

Yes - this is a fabulous sandwich! Quite a bit of prep time with all the chopping, so do the prep in the morning or day before. Once that is done, it all goes in the pot and you're on your way to having a fabulous sandwich. The havarti finishes this sandwich off deliciously!! Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoy cooking. A LOT, so this year for the fourth of July( Happy Birthday USA I wanted to do something different. I am a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT in a small town in Nevada. I wanted to suprise All the Firefighters and their famlies. I Volunteered to cook but I told everyone I would not say what I am cooking. I told them Tofu. lol. I cooked Tri-tip and Jambalaya sandwhich's, for around 65 people. Guess what was dang near all gone thats right The Jambalaya sandwhich. This was something I tried for the first time for all the friends and family. Whooo WEEEE. OFF THE HOOK. Thanks to all the Chefs and shows. I will be cooking this sandwhich again. Very shortly. Take Care And God Bless.

My son, who is the BEST cook in our extended family, loved it.
It was sad to say, but he was surprized his old mom could make something this good.
