My Dad saw this episode and called me and asked me to look up the recipe and make it for him. He didnt know what it was called but it looked good. I finally found it and made it for all the men in the family at our next family pool night at my house. It was a huge success!! They ate so much they almost couldn't play pool afterwards. I made a double batch and served it with several kinds of buns along with the Championship potatoes and there wasn't anything left over except crumbs. The only change I made was to use smoked sausage instead of the spicy because my dad likes it better. Even the kids liked it. Thanks Guy!

Tatses tremendous and makes a huge batch. If you want leaner fare, substitute pork tenderloin for the pork butt, use chicken breast instead of chicken thighs, and smoked turkey sausage for the smoked pork sausage. The end product tastses the same.

Saw Guy fix this and sent it to my son at college. He loved it! He said it wasn't hard to fix and made for an easy meal to carry for tailgating

I tripled everything but the cayenne and filled 4 large sourdough loaves. My personal modification was to pick out some of the bread from the bottom section of each loaf so they hold more of the sausage/meat mix. Also, I basted the top and bottom of each loaf with olive oil infused with a generous amount of freshly grated garlic before toasting.

Awesome!! The recipe is so easy and perfect for any hosted game day event. I chop everything up a little smaller than recommended and we typcially make individual sandwiches; regardless...one of the best game day hot meals you can serve. Have beer handy, very flavorful!!

Any leftovers reheat or freeze well.

Just made this yesterday and, as Guy says, "It is money". We made individual sandwiches instead of on the large roll but they were still good. I would cut the pork, sausage, and chicken into even smaller sizes than shown on the show. Great recipe that we will repeat more than once!

I followed the basic receipt but added a little here and there, mostly additional meat and water. Then I thought that if I ruined it basically all I did was waist the cost of the ingredients. WOW was I surprised when the family said it turned out great. I cooked in the crock pot for about 6 hours and served it on rice. The pork was so tender that it kept falling apart. I also put it on the some left over instant mashed potatoes and it was great that way as well. I would make it again anytime. I like to crock pot in the winter and this will defiantly be one of my regulars.

I made this last night and served them on onion sandwich rolls. I loved the flavor but it seemed as if it lacked something. No worries though, because the family liked it a lot. I made these with the Championship Potatoes. I will make this again sometime soon. Good job, Guy!
