We really enjoy this dish. My family, and extended family ask if this is what I am making at family gatherings. Some find the whole cloves a bit overpowering so I've started just putting a bit of ground cloves in each cross section. That seems to be a much bigger hit. Just personal taste I guess. Some like the salsa, others not so much. I can't believe this recipe doesn't have thousands of reviews with 5 stars! Best kept secret. Great job Guy.

This is my 4th Christmas, I’ve been making this truly amazing ham recipe. The house smells unbelievable while it’s in the oven. The last 30 minutes with the mustard glaze, is just a peace of heaven. You cannot make this recipe without the Grilled Tropical Salsa. You guest will be astonished by this Salsa. If there is any Salsa leftover, save it for some vanilla ice cream. 10 stars for this recipe!

Tasty tasty tasty!! 5+ Stars I made this ham for Christmas the last two years and am DEFINITELY making it this year! Living in Alaska I couldn't find papaya anywhere, but it was delicious without the salsa. : My husband love it! Thank you Guy!

This ham is AMAZING. I made it for Christmas dinner 2 years ago and my husband STILL begs for it, so I'm doing it again this year! Although the glaze take a bit of time, it is TOTALLY worth it. Ham is moist and delicious, the salsa is amazing, and the glaze is perfect for dipping! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

The heater went out in my house this weekend so I went looking for a recipie that would have me cooking for a while. I found this recipie and decided to try it. Everyone decided it was delicious, even the fruit salsa. And today we took the left over salsa and put it on top of some boneless, skinless, chicken breasts and that was wonderful also!

Christmas dinner my son said, "Mom, this is the best ham you have ever made!" They didn't care for the salsa. I liked it, but next time I think I will caramelize it and serve it warm. The ham is a definite keeper!

We saw Guy whip this up with Tyler and had to try it for ourselves. WOW! We had 10 people for Xmas dinner - everybody raved! It was an explosion of flavor, fun to do, and even more fun to eat. We scored the ham just like Guy/Tyler did and poured the "sauce" into all the nocks and cranies and valley and YUM-YUM! It's already in the recipe book. Definitely a keeper!

I must agree with folks that know how to do ham!!! This ones is truly amazing and I've been done made it several times it always comes out so freakin' good! We don't do the salsa, my guys don't care for that too much but that's because they dip their succulent ham in those juices from the glaze! You went there with this one thanks for sharing one of your families traditions with us and making it a must have during the holidays. See you on Guys Family Feast!
