Oh my gosh...it rocked! My husband isn't a salmon fan so I made the sauce and served it over grilled boneless chicken. It was fantastic and gave a new twist to chicken.

I have made this several times already, it's excellent, and very healthy. My husband usually doesn't like salmon unless it's dregged with mayo sauce, but he really liked this recipe which is significantly healthier than any mayo/butter sauce I usually made with salmon. This recipe is a KEEPER! Also, FYI, if you don't want to open a bottle of white wine I found a mixture of brandy and sherry for deglazing works just as well. Also cook the sauce down the full 20 minutes, I skimped the first time and it made a different. When the sauce is thick it almost makes "crust" to the salmon rather than drip off.

This was awesome!! I had this for my birthday celebration and it was a big hit!! Everyone thought it was wonderful and I made a lot of copies to hand out to friends. One request, if your recipes include alcohol could you provide an alternative. I have friends who do not drink. Thanks!!

I tried this with chicken, awesome. DON'T use spicy mustard, it seemed to react with the cedar flavor and got way too intense. Besides that, the heat of the dish was awesome. It wasn't too spicy to eat but what was there lingered for a long time.

i made this for a pork loin and it was delicious-just enough heat and sweet! would definitely use it on salmon also.
