This is hands down the BEST salmon I have ever had. It was very easy to prep and cook - and the flavors are outrageous. This has become a vacation tradition for our family and everyone looks forward to its guest appearance!!!

The sauce is awesome. I used some nice shrimp instead, lightly flouring them and then searing in olive oil, then combined them with the sauce and cooked just until done. It was great. I followed the recipe exactly and was really impressed. Next time I'll use a little extra jalapeno just because I like the heat a lot, and possibly try sugar free apricot preserves. I'm definitely going to use salmon also, but the shrimp were amazing with this. Great recipe, very easy.

Wow! Easy & very flavorful. I made them on the grill with a side of quinoa & grilled corn. Healthy & delicious. I can always trust Guy to provide flavorful approachable recipes, thanks!

I added about 2 tbs of red pepper relish to the apricot sauce. Quite delicious.

I'm so glad the recipe is revealed! I had this salmon, years ago, at the restaurant & it was by far the best salmon ever - I still dream about having it, again! Now I have the recipe & can attempt to make it as good as when I had it at Johnny Garlic's...THANKS GUY!

I made this last night on a small round charcoal grill using a clean cedar shingle soaked for several hours. It was better than good it was more like fantastic! The marinade uses Apricot preserves and a few things I didn't have but mine turned out just like his picture. I add soaked twigs and branches from our fruit trees to the charcoal before replacing the top; they add a nice flavor to everything. I pushed most of the charcoal to the other side of the grill but not certain that is necessary. I didn't lift the top for 25 minutes. Looked too good to be homemade. Delicious! Definitely a five star recipe.
