Knowing the helath benefits of salmon,I have tried many recipes searching for something that my husband would actually LIKE, and not just eat it to get it over with. He enjoyed this so much he said he actually wanted more and it was the best salmon recipe he's had. That is really saying something for him. I have to agree. I had a hard time even telling this was fish, tasted more like chicken. The jalapenos added just enough of a smoky bite to really make it memorable. I will definitely be making this again.

I cooked Guy's recipe for a friend while my husband was out of town and we both raved!! I've made lots of cedar-planked salmon recipes in the past, but this turned out incredibly moist and flavorful. The sauce is to die for! I made it again for my husband when he got home, and he loved it, too. I made it again last weekend for company and they went nuts! I had some sauce left over, so I put it on chicken and baked it and that turned out great, too. Thanks, Guy!

Loved this recipe. The jalepenos were my favorite part about the taste of this recipe. After every bite, there was just a slight kick of spice at the end that made the salmon even more tastier. I recommend however, to place the cedar plank on the bbq! The salmon was delicious and the taste of the plank was yummy. I bought a small jar of Apricot Reserves, however I should have used more to make it more of a glaze, but it was enough and this recipe is a keeper!

I'm not a salmon fan but my husband and son love it so I'm always on the lookout for "keeper" salmon recipes. This one is now at the top of our list. Even my picky 8 year old daughter liked it! Of course we grilled it (we never turn the oven on in the summer and didn't use the cedar planks but it was phenomenal! I seeded the jalapenos, and used a sweet and spicy mustard because that's what I had on hand. I can't wait to pass this one on to my friends!

i maybe made the mistake of reading the reviews before hand. i toned down the heat by deseeding the jalapenos. will definetly be making this one again, but will need more heat to go along with the sweet apricot.

We loved this recipe. My wife is not a big salmon fan, but she loved it with the sauce. We will be making this the next time guest come over!

i found the sauce too sweet and didn't feel like the apricot preserves complemented the whole grain mustard at all. it had the right amount of heat but overall it was completely distracting from a perfectly good piece of salmon. i dont see how this recipe benefits from the cedar plank either. if you like candy for dinner this might be for you. not a keeper for me but if someone put a gun to my head and forced me to make this again i would be more conservative when it came time to slather the candy onto the fish.
