They are OK, but missing something. Maybe it is the omission of heavy cream and/or butter. I put some sour cream on them after they were done, but they were still just OK.

This recipe calls for waaaaaaaay too much garlic and not even close to enough milk. Also, you need to boil the potatoes--15 minutes simmering on medium heat will not cook the potatoes to fork tender. I have to say I was really disappointed with this one :(

while it reheated a little dry and i had to add more milk to it, it was great to have a recipe that didn't involve heavy cream and gobs of butter. the flavor of garlic & rosemary was really great and it was enough to feed a really big group.

Wonderful garlic and rosemary flavor in the mashed potatoes. It was easy to do for a quick dinner with a store bought rotisserie chicken. My two year old girls and my garlic loving husband loved the potatoes. I thought the garlic strength was great. I wouldn't change the amount.

Excellent recipe requiring a bit extra work to saute garlic and rosemary, but wisely uses the same dishes(one to cook, one to serve if you put the pre-mashed potatoes in the same dish you will serve them in. Worth the extra time. Will serve it for the in-laws this weekend. What does that tell you?

Sounds great. If it has garlic in it, I'll try it...
