Great recipe, especially for those that like their meat prepared medium. The sauce is what really makes this dish. It adds that extra oomph to it. I found that I like a bit less sugar than the recipe asks for. This recipe is simple and looks so pretty when plated that it looks like it takes a lot longer to prepare. A definite crowd pleaser.

Rather than just sharing my successes with recipes, I have no shame in telling you I bombed the sauce. I can only give this three stars because of my inept ability to make a sacue. The steak was awesome! But must work on sauce skills.

Wonderful! I will definitely make this again and use a cut of meat more worthy of the wonderful sauce.

I have make this recipe two times now. It is very simple and everyone raves about it. I tenderize the meat with a mallet to even out the thickness and then use a needle tenderizer for additional tenderness. After grilling to 140 F. and letting it rest, I cut steak accross grain in 1/4 in. peices. Served with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Yum!!! So tender and juicy.

I made this for dinner last night, using fliets. The sauce was incredibly flavorful. i substituted a packet of Truvia for the sugar. The only complaint is that there wasn't enough sauce to go around, I'll probably double it next time.
