Seriously-don't rate the recipe, if you haven't even made it.-2 T of bourbon will cook off and just add wonderful flavor. Bourbon is made from corn-do you eat corn? The tequila Aoli is not cooked off, but again , just a T for flavor and it's WONDERFUL-Tex-Mex slider

I agree why negatively review a recipe/article that you will not participate in. But here is the real 411 on alcohol in food and the heating process (BTW the aioli is never cooked, did you read the recipe?
http://www.ochef.com/165.htm scroll to the end of the article a very convient chart from US Department of Agriculture’s Nutrient Data Laboratory

These are fabulous. suzanne27 in Scottsdale - why do you even rate it if you're not going to prepare the recipe??? I happen to LOVE Bourbon in food - it's fabulous! Don't knock it til you try it! All the alcohol cooks off and you end up with a wonderful flavor.

I have eaten these directly from the Santa Rosa Johnny Garlic. They are easily the best sliders I have ever eaten. Now to have the recipe and make them myself....golden.
