Funny how the only negative comments are from people who did not even make these, and are offended by the name! Guy, these wings are so tasty that my husband begs me to make them constantly, and brags about them to our friends. Keep up the good work!

I'm sitting here writing my review with bones on my left and sticky stuff on my keyboard. You go Guy! Yes, I added some minced garlic, will add a thickner, some brown sugar and probably stick them back in the oven (400 until my smoke alarm goes off. I just like wings that have brown sugar and honey to have a glaze. Guy you are off the chain! Enjoy a quite of few of your recipes. I'm going to attempt the Good Girl Championship Potatoes?! instead of traditional potato salad. Hey you 1 starer---stop being so critical. Give good critics to make the recipe even more tastier--lift up not put down!!

These wings were quite good; I do recommend adding a little cornstarch as others suggested. Other than that, they were perfect. I am not Korean but find it unbelievable the fuss some have made with references to "Korean" or lack thereof. Wonder if anyone has noticed that Chinese food in 99% of restaurants is not truly what someone from China considers Chinese food. Give it a rest; this is the US not Korea.

My brother started making these wings last year and bragged about them ever since. We finally ate some at his house and they were OFF THE HOOK!!!!!! We did need to add a little something to add sweetness to balance the vinegar and sherry and I use cornstarch to thinken them, but the recipe is still OFF THE HOOK !!!!!! everyone we make them for is in LOVE !!!!

I added another 2 tablespoons of the chili garlic sauce and WOW!!!! Not only is this great for wings......but try it with potstickers, fried mushrooms, dipping sauce for steak/shrimp. If I'd not added as much extra chili garlic sauce I'd also use it for a salad dressing.

Sorry Guy, love you and your shows...but this recipe was a disappointment. As an avid Asian food lover, this recipe didn't taste as good as it looks. I tasted the sauce and it didn't taste like something I wanted on my chicken wings.

I kicked it up by addiing some minced garlic, and a few tablespoons of brown sugar. Then, instead of taking the sauce off the heat after two minutes, I let it simmer awhile to reduce and amplify the flavors. In the end I added some corn starch and water to thicken it up. After garnishing the wings with sesame seeds and green onions, it was good to go.

As I prepared it, I would rate it a solid 5 STARS. My kids loved it and said these wings were the second best they ever had.

This recipe is a versions of the Chinese/Korean wings that are very popular called "Kan Pung Gi". The ingredients are a little different but it's very similar. It is served alot in Korean owned Chinese restaurants or Chinese restaurants that have Korean/Chinese menus. Don't know something you don't know if you really are an Asian who knows their food...
