I don't know if this recipe is Korean or not but these wings were really good. I did add a little bit of cornstarch and water to the sauce to thicken it up but other than that I followed the recipe and 3 people ate 40 chicken wings and were looking for more. This is my new go to recipe for parties!

Instead of baking and frying these wings (I was on a timeline, I seasoned them with salt & pepper and threw them on the grill, which gave them some nice char, which added a yummy smokey flavor.

If you haven't cooked with chili garlic sauce before, start by using less than what the recipe calls for, and add more later. I love spicy wings, and used the full amount. Added 4 tbsp brown sugar to the sauce to add more sweetness.

Next time I would prepare a double batch of sauce and let it reduce down to make it thicker.

great idea for baking then frying after. Too much vinegar it over powers the sauce, more honey also would help. Please choose a sweet tasting sherry to complement the sauce.
