it came out pretty well but it was very oily and heavy. The left overs were horrible and greasy so we had to throw it away...

This recipe was way too heavy for my taste. Ive been looking for a good recipe for a while and i just think it can maybe use less heavy cream cause that flavor was too strong I did like the bacon and panko. Other than that it was good.

I've made this recipe at least 6 or 7 times and each time it's been a hit. Everytime I've been asked for the recipe from people. I've pretty much made it to the recipe exept for a few times switching up the cheeses. My next try is maybe adding some shrimp or lobster to see if it kicks it up a bit.

I didnt make it exactly to the recipe, I used diced ham rather than bacon because with will be eating it with bacon cheese burgers tomorrow, didnt want to have an over kill. But if you are just trying to make a simple home made mac and cheese this is a great recipe

I made this mac and cheese for Easter and it was the first thing gone! Everyone loved it! I only modified it a litte. I added bacon and cheese. I also forgot to get bread crumbs but I improvised with croutons in the food processor. Still, it turned out great! It was the hit of the party!

I liked the recipe the first time, but found it a bit bland. The next time I made it I added an extra cup of pepperjack to give it a little more kick. I also stirred in a can of diced tomatoes and cubed some ham to mix in right before baking. This made it more of a main dish with a little more flavor. Also, I used 3 cups milk and 1 cup cream to cut calories and it seemed to work just fine.

i made this mac and cheese my family loved it. i did add extra thick cut bacon about 7 slices. i accidently bought only 1 cup of heavy cream so i filled in the other 3 cups with skim milk. still came out creamy. also when we reheated we just added a little milk and it was wonderful again. we couldnt stop eating it. even though it was a 9x13 pan full of wonderful 2 people were able to finish the whole thing in 2 meals.

I made this dish for my husband and our daughters. Everyone wanted it for dinner the following night! It was delicious. The only substitution we made was another kind of chedder for the pepper jack per my husband's request. Definitely a keeper!

I followed the recipe exact and doubled all the ingedients for my Superbowl party and it came out perfect! Everyone kept asking where did this recipe come from. I loved the flavors of the roasted garlic and shallots! It really make the dish. I would make it again and again! When I reheated the leftovers, I added in a little milk and it was just as good.
