I made this for my family and my neighbors for dinner. I watched Guy make this on TV and I was so excited to try myself. After a lot of work and time, it was not worth it. Had a very weird taste. Definitely sounds better than the reality. The comments were "weird spice...sort of like it; not quite sure" and "gamey". Perhaps this is how it was supposed to taste? I think I would add more maple syrup if ever I was to attempt again.

Saw this on TV the other day and made the brine yesterday. Was really looking forward to tonights dinner and it was just ok. Don't think I will make it again.

This was a recipe I wanted to try because I am tired of chicken and the same ol' roasted turkey like at Thanksgiving. It tastes great and is a nice alternative!!
