Well of course you should always read a recipe all the way through, otherwise you might heat your oven for 1.5 hours before you need it!

Anyway, great flavors in this dish. Try not to drink the sauce!

I seasoned my meat the night before and put it in the marinade that morning. I thought that it did not marinate long enough, boy was i wrong this chicken rocked my whole familys world. THE CHICKEN WAS KICKEN.

I found out the best "Star Chef ever"
Like the tons of flavor you add to your recepies. As hispanic we cook with a lot of flavor and you got them rigth on. Keep on cooking.

This recipe is wonderful-everyone has different opinions on how something tastes according to their own likes and dislikes. After reading some of the insulting reviews (including the people who can't spell and don't have the intelligence to form a sentence, I can understand why they have no taste as well or perhaps they couldn't read the recipe I had to make it. If you don't like salt, don't use it, as well as the sugar. I adjust spices according to my own likes and dislikes. I would make this again. As for the insulting reviews, I just chalk them up to illiterate people who judge a chef by his armbands.

Although a little time consuming, this chicken was fabulous and will make it into our monthly rotation. Flattening the chicken is a great idea (Alton Brown makes roasted chicken this way, because the whole chicken browns and cooks evenly. Thanks for another great way to cook chicken!

I made this for my girlfriend tonight. It was the most amazing flavor with probably the most moist meat I've ever had in a chicken. The complexity of tastes truly make this great. Don't be afraid to leave it the broiler a little longer because the charred skin with glaze is wonderful. Might try throwing it on the grill for a few minutes next time instead of the broiler.
