The chicken was really good. I left it in the marinate over night, and put it on the grill the next day. Did not use the glaze.
For the person that called guy an idiot, maybe you are an idiot and don't know how to cook . And you know it takes an idiot to know one.

This recipe was not only time consuming, but was one of the worst meals that I have ever made. The glaze was unattractive and repulsive...looked like grey snot. The chicken had potential, but definitely needs to marinade overnight.
I would NOT make this again!

This recipe was a little challenging and time consuming. But the end result was worth all the fuss! I enjoyed making the glaze, considering that was the first time I've made any glazes. This recipe reminds me of a dish from Friday's. You'll enjoy this chicken! Bon appetit!

Tonight's the 2nd time I'm preparing this recipe. You can make it ahead until the chicken is browned, then cover the whole pan with foil and refridgerate till it's time to put into oven. i added 15 minutes to take the chill off the chidken. My best yet!

Used some quail and added some jalapenos to marinade to spice it up some. It was excellent and can't wait for pheasant season.

This was one tasty and juicy chicken! I loved the idea of cutting out the back bone of the chicken so he could be seared in the pan and then cooked in the oven - it was fantastic! My husband took one bit and was like "yep, that's good - you can make this one anytime". It was delicious! Next time I might cut back a little on the salt - the breasts were a little on the salty side, but overall this dish was a knockout.

Was a great recipe as is. Made this for a small dinner party - took a risk for not ever making it before - but it was a hit. I personally plan to make this again and again. My husband said he could taste too much sweet with the brown sugar in the glaze - but that goes to personal taste versus recipe.

Great recipe! I made it last week and I'm making it again tonight. My husband loved it ! I will eliminate the final glaze step. I think the chicken tastes great on its own.
