Excellent! I am a new catfish lover because of this recipe. My family loved it. Flavorful and tame enough for all the family members! Thanks Guy.

My first time making it and my boyfriend loved it. It wasn't dry and so easy to make. It seemed pretty spicy, it had our nose running but he didn't mind. I highly recommend this dish for any seafood lover.

I was getting bored with catfish until I made this, it was great! Though sadly my fiance likes boring, bland food and didn't like it. I don't care though I'm making it again!

Take it from a southern belle who grew up on the lake eating fresh seafood...THIS IS THE BEST!

This was great!! It was easy and the taste was fantastic! The other reviews that said bland must not have done this right! It really is yummy!

A fantastic, easy fish recipe! Great for beginners, but tasty enough to fool people into thinking you're a master chef.

The fish was delicious, beautifully spiced and easy to make. Mouth-wateringly yummy. HOWEVER-- I literally set my stove on fire this evening, so bad that the fire extinguisher made an appearance. Please be careful not to get the pan too hot.
Here's what happened: I got the pan hot, added the oil, immediately the whole kitchen filled with smoke and as I pulled the pan off the heat, it ignited the pan which caught on fire and caused my glass top stove to momentarily catch on fire. After getting that under control , airing out the house and starting over.... I decided to add the oil to the pan, bring it gently up to heat (not quite so high, maybe medium-hot and the fish turned out absolutely amazing. I don't think you need the pan white-hot to make it delicious and I personally found it dangerous! Fish is great though, I love love love the spices, but I just will tune down the stove heat in the future.
