not really a fan of pumpkin seeds, but i would make this. however, i can't help but wonder if he noticed the fact that one of the eggs he used to dredge the fish was bloody. kinda turned me off to the dish while i was watching the episode. :(

Guy, this was absolutely great!! The halibut was a little pricey, but in the end it was worth it. I'm not quite sure why you need to finish it off in the oven. Next time I will try and just cook it slowly in the pan. The flavors were amazing!

First time I cooked Halibut at home but won't be my last. I didn't have pepitas so I substituted sunflower seeds - tasted delicious. Sauce makes the dish. Perfect for serving guests!

Guy, you rock!! I don't make a lot of fish. This was awesome!! I am more familiar with cod, so I used that instead of halibut. The cod was cut in non-uniform sizes, next time I would make sure all the thicknesses were the same for even cooking times.
I optimistically doubled the sauce recipe and used an entire serrano. I thought the heat was perfect. I also do not have a stick blender, so I put the sauce in a little "Magic Bullet" blender. Perfect. I also wanted a Mexican-y side dish and served corn with red bell pepper. The sauce "accidentally" got on the corn. Wow! I was glad I had extra sauce. Actually, I can think of a lot of things that sauce would be good on. Great recipe, easy and received raves.

I made this last week and my bf was apprensive when he saw the ingredients on the counter but it turned out to be one of the yummiest dishes ever! Unfortunately I did cut back on the serrano in the sauce but won't make that mistake twice. I'm making this again for a dinner party this w'end. Highly recommended!

Everything was easy to prepare. Like a previous review, the halibut wasn't easy to find. I had to buy it frozen at Trader Joes. The serano cream was good, but I didn't blend it up cause I was over making another dirty dish! It still came out great, but it got a little less creamy when I added the lime juice (it didn't look as silky. I think I would hold off on the lime next time and squirt it right over the fish, then add the sauce minus the lime! I made this along with the green chile mashers which were amazing. I will for sure make these two again!
