Does take some time to prepare, but well worth it. Stunning appearance that wow's guest when served in pinapple boat.

Oh No! I wish I would have read the other reviews and looked up the coconut rice recipe - that would have been killer. Had 8 guests over and a couple don't eat red meat - so I found this recipe - loved it! I could have easily added more ginger and more hot pepper - but it was great! I don't need all of the sodium, so used low sodium soy and saw some great corn at the store - so I roasted a couple of ears and at the last minute added it to the onions and peppers. Will do again - definately had more fruit left over - good stuff - but could cut down a little on that part of the recipe.

Lots of work involved. Turned out to look absolutely beautiful and stunning. I had to take pictures! But it honestly was not worth all the labor involved for the end result. It was very average tasting. The ingredients sounded like they'd be great together. I love exotic foods. But it really didn't taste like anything special or out of the ordinary.

This shrimp was worth all the prep work. It is delicious and fun to look at. The pineapple boats make an awesome presentation. I am planning a dinner night with friends just so I can make this again. I agree with the other reviews that it is even more awesome with the coconut rice. I love Guy's recipes! I didn't change a thing about the written recipe.

I cant say much about this except it is so good and full of flavor. It is time consuming but so worth it. Make sure you pair it with the rice!!!!
