I have not made this recipe yet but totally plan to. I would like some more input on how others made it since I don't really remember Guy adding the reserved milk broth either. So did you add it or didn't you? I, like another reviewer, also believe he added quite a bit more butter on the show than the recipe calls for. What did you do? Butter to taste? Thanks for your input. I can't wait to try it!

Im gonna WATCH MORE OF YOU , GUY! This was such a nice change from
the forever cauliflower with cheese dish! Fresh and the roasted florets on
top were very very nice to see. Thank you so much.

Honestly I've had a hard time with vegatables most of my life and until recently I wouldn't have touched this dish with a 10 food pole assuming it would be discusting. I loved it and was shocked. I kept wanting to add garlic or other things while I was making it but it was really good as it was. I used skim milk instead of cream so it would be lower fat and we ended up adding pepper and some parmesean cheese for fun after we had eaten most of it. Love it! Will surely make again yay!

I just made these literally about 10 minutes ago with the chicken. They are SO good is unreal. My son said these are "Better potatoes than Nana makes!" lol
If you knew my mom and how she cooks, you would know how much those words mean!! The taste is unbeleievable! Thanks Guy!!

i HAVE MADE THIS BEFORE BUT NOT THE SAME WAY. IT DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE ADDED GOODIES IN IT. SOUNDS REALLY GOOD AND I KNOW THAT PUREED CALIFLOWER IS REALLY GOOD. YOU WOULD SWEAR IT WAS REAL MASHED POTATOES. AND BETTER FOR YOU.

I enjoyed the idea of this recipe but it was confusing to see how Guy made it on tv vs. how he says to make it here. He added over a half a cube of butter on tv (but far less is asked for in his written recipe.

On tv he did not add any of the milk to the final product when you blend them; yet, in the recipe he says to add half the milk! If you add half, it is very runny.

I don't do mashed potatoes (carbs and this is a great alternative. So yummy that I wanted to make this my whole meal.
