We followed the recipe to a T and the glaze didn't thicken. I think something may be missing out of the recipe or there is too much liquid. It looked really good in the picture and I did try the sauce. I liked the apples and peppers together, it made for an interesting combination but the sauce was all watery after we reduced it.

My sauce didn't get thick enough and it just wasn't a good dish. My husband and I didn't even finish it :(

This was easy to make. No apple juice on hand, but I did have pineapple juice so used that instead. On the advice of other reviewers, I seasoned the shrimp before cooking them and added some red pepper flakes for some kick. I also added some strips of orange peel when adding the apples and shrimp. These changes gave it a oriental flare and we ended up eating it over rice. It reminded me of orange peel shrimp from p.f. chang's. I think it would have been good even without the changes. Will definitely make again and may try adding some fresh ginger.

I had my doubts about this because I thought it would be too sweet, but decided to make it because I had everything on hand. I added some crushed red pepper with the sauteed veggies for some heat. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely make again!

We tried this last night and my family loved it. I didn't care for the mint with the shrimp...sort of odd marriage and I did add red pepper flakes to give it some kick. All in all very unusual and a hit!

I made this dish and I wasn't pleased. The sauce did not get thick enough, but I added more cornstarch and the shrimp need seasoning prior to being cooked. I did read the reviews prior and knew to add some spice. It helped. Unless I can find a way to enhance this dish, I will not make it again. Sorry, Guy!
