This recipe is pretty good, and much faster than other recipes I have tried for collard greens. I didn't love it though, because the greens came out tasting kind of bitter. Maybe I am just not a huge fan of collard greens, I don't know. I prefer the recipe for Gina's Best Collard Greens. Sorry, Guy.

Years ago, down south, I had collards and thought they were awful. But everything deserves a second chance, so I decided to trust Guy's recipe (even though I don't trust his hair and cook some up myself. YUM!
I, too, used less vinegar and liked the result.

Great recipe. I cut the amount of vinegar down to 3 tablespoons and omitted the pork and it still turned out great.

Loved this recipe. Was very close to my grandmothers. I live in Louisiana and greens are big. I used bacon instead and also only 2 tablespoons of vinger.

These greens were AWESOME! The recipe was easy, the ingredients simple, The only thing different I did was add smoked turkey I cooked the night before and added a small head of lettuce for color: other than that, my friends loved my greens!

A nice, simple recipe that anyone can pull off. If you don't have fatback, or just don't want to deal with it, you can substitute a handful of pre-cooked bacon bits (the real ones, please!
