This is fantastic! Even my husband who usually hates anything new liked it. The only suggestion I have is to use low sodium soy sauce. The first time I thought it was pretty salty but the rice, grated tangerine and green onions seem to calm it down. I did juice the whole tangerine and use that for the sauce and used olive oil to brown in. I followed the recipe otherwise. Like another reviewer said, he added garlic to the marinade on the show. The only chili sauce I found was a sweet one it's not to hot but my son added some plain siraca. This is going into our regular rotation and I will be sure to have a tangerine in my house as this is a dish we crave.

I have not made this yet, but it looks great and i'm very excited about making it, plus every recipe I have made from Guy has been good so i'm sure I will not be disappointed, On the show though he added some garlic to the bag so I think I am going to do that.

This was absolutely DELICIOUS! To my disappointment, our local markets were out of tangerines so I used orange instead and it tasted great. Also, I didn't have sherry so I used white wine. The spice was just right and the taste of the dish tasted like a restaurant. Whenever I want a "chinese-food-fix" this will be my go-to recipe. I made it with basmati rice that I flavored with minced ginger and garlic which I cooked in a chicken broth. FYI...This recipe will not feed 4-6, it actually feeds about 2-3. To make this "stretch" further it wouldn't be a bad idea to add some red and green pepper and some onion slices.

we've made this recipe a few times & it's got some serious flavor! it's sooooo good. my husband & i love it. it tastes just like something straight out of a restaurant - so good that you're amazed it's not takeout. if you want to impress - make this dish. amazing!

This is an awesome recipe. My boys are 2 and 7, my 7 year old choked twice while trying to chow this dish down. When I told him to slow down, all he said was, " Its so good, I can't eat it fast enough." This coming from a child who thinks that anything that has flavor is spicy. All in all a great dish that we have added to our routine. Served over jasmine rice with some bok choy.
