I haven't made it, but there is a better way to cook the potatoes for the gnocchi. I learned it from Chef David in Tuscany (instructor for our cooking class on my Carnival cruise. Instead of boiling the potatoes, which causes them to absorb water and thus require drying time in addition to the boiling time, try baking them. Chef David put down a layer of very coarse sea salt and baked the potatoes on top of that. Baking keeps the potatoes nice and dry.

I made the sauce but used frozen gnocchi, so this review is just for the sauce. The sauce was delicious! I would have preferred it to be a little thicker, even though I let it reduce for the time recommended it was still a little watery. It was great though, I wanted to drink the sauce left at the bottom of my dish! Garlicky, a little spicy, cheesy...will definitely make again!
