I agree with the previous reviewer about adding honey...makes all the difference in the world. The thinner the better on the sliced cukes, and a mandoline is the way to go. Also, serve ICE COLD.

this is a quick and good recipe, but too sharp. i added about 2 tablespoons of honey, and that made all the difference. seems to me that Guy, or his staff, should have picked up on this.

i like guy, he cute, smart, hip and hes a great chef. the things he says makes me want to make all of his food. i just love watching him..

The peppers add just the right KICK. If you didnt notice the peppers you did something wrong. I took it to work for a potluck and EVERYONE who ate it ask for the recipe.

I really liked the extra kick the chiles gave to this recipe - but it was not too spicy. The heat with the sweet and sour was a great combination and this was so easy to make.

These cucumbers are nothing to write home about. A much easier and better tasting version is to mix 1 part water, 1 part vinegar, 1 part sugar, salt and pepper to taste. No boiling required. The hot peppers didn't add a thing.

I ended up pouring out some of the vinegar dressing and mixing in water. My husband ate them with mayonnaise on them to cut the vinegar.
