I saw the episode recently and then the grocery store conveniently put spare ribs on sale. We bought a full rack and trimmed off the boneless portions for later use. The rub was great and the technique was *awesome*. The ribs were falling off the bone tender. there was a beautiful crust on the ribs. The sauce recipe didn't seem to match up with the episode. Guy cooked the sauce for a while but the instructions talk abut cooking for 2-3 minutes. We cooked it a while. When I tasted the sauce, I had my doubts. Once it was on the ribs, I changed my mind. It was really a great match for the ribs and a fantastic improvement over the sickly sweet commercial sauces. I'm giving the sauce a 4 out of 5, but the technique and rub deserve a 6.

Thank you Guy for another great recipe! Well let me sum it up this way...Well I cut out the Tequilla sauce only cause of the kids. I did however grill the ribs first and then after an hour, I threw them in the oven to slow cook in a Dr Pepper marinade I use allot with pork for another hour. The last 30 minutes I coated it with a Hickory BBQ sauce that sealed the deal. If you want to experience ultimate flavors, this was it! Guy's rub with the marinade hit off the flavors especially when the BBQ sauce was the topper! Thanks for the recipe Guy I will definately use this recipe again and again!

Since I happened to have already had a store-bought bottle of Guy's own brand of Bourbon Sweet and Sour BBQ sauce, I used that to save some time. I did, however, use the rub and cooked the ribs on the grill and not only did my husband rave about them, but so did the kids! An easy, great and tasty recipe that I will definitely use again (and next time I'll make and use the sauce, too!

Sorry Guy, I HATE to only give you 4 stars, but I had to deduct for the sauce (yuk. Couldn't salvage the sauce after preparing it according to your recipe.
BUT, the ribs are just OUTSTANDING! Delicious! I have used this rub on chicken for pulled chicken bbq, pork and ribs. It's fabulous!

OMG, by far the best BBQ recipe I've tasted!! I also used the rub and sauce on a pork butt and it was just as awesome as on the ribs. Who knew an amazing BBQ sauce could be so easy to make? I'll never buy bottled BBQ sauce again!

Another winner winner chicken dinner from our boy Guy Fieri. I have made it twice at my house already and with the cost of ribs very low here at our price club I can make 2 full racks for under $20 and feed my entire family with leftovers...if any. The Tequila BBQ sauce is one of the best I have ever tasted.

This was pretty good! I had quite a few substitutions...boneless chicken breasts, ketchup, honey, pepperocinis, garlic powder. I didn't have any paprika in the shelf so I used chili powder. I followed the directions for the dry rub. I cut the HUGE breasts into 3 chunks a piece and rubbed them down. Put them in oven on 275 covered with foil for 35 minutes. I had the sauce on the stove. When the timer went off I took the foil off and the internal temp was at 151, I basted the chicken and put it back in the oven and started the zatarans jambalya rice. When there was about 5 minutes left on the rice, I put the oven on hi broil. It was delicious! Will definitely use the sauce again for shrimp or ribs or pork or cardboard!! hehe! Very tasty. Thank you guy!

This was fabulous. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. Made it the following weekend because it was so good. Would use a little less tequila in the sauce.

Saw this on Guy's Big Bite this morning and got the stuff for it, and made it tonight. The sauce really makes this. Didn't have St. Louis style ribs, so just used baby back, but still came out great. Made the sauce exactly as the recipe said, and it was really good. This is a keeper.

this review is only for the sauce. hubby was grilling chicken and had to have the sauce after seeing it on tv. i used 2 tablespoons molasses, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1 canned chipotle pepper. i added 1/4 teaspoon cumin for more of a southwest kick. it was smoky sweet and so delicious! tastes like jack daniel's sauce but much better because it was homemade...
