These tacos were just average in taste--needs more heat and flavor in the spices. We've made better tasting fish tacos with Bobby Flay's recipe.

Koi are highly colored decorative carp, usually prized as living fish in a pond. What's with the name of this recipe? Its not carp, not alive, and the photo sure isn't colorful!

I never review these recipes but we just finished eating and it was too good not to!

I usually prefer flour tortillas but NOT with this. Go corn all the way. We just heated each corn tortilla on a hot skillet and broke the fish down the center of each. You will love the sauce and the pica de gallo with it, and the cabbage is a must. You may think that you dont like some of the ingredients but do your self a favor and follow it exact.
We made it exactly as we saw it on the show and we were not disapointed. I wouldnt change any thing. (try it before you modify it
I cant wait to make this for guests.
One piece of the fish was just right for one taco. The ladies each had two and the gents had three. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Even though I am also a senior, unlike Margaret from Louisville, I "get" Guy. What a shame she will boycott this talented chef and never taste this delicious dish. Grow up girlfriend. You are truly missing out.

I grew up in S. Calif, it is hard to find good fish tacos on the East Coast. These were really good. I used about an 1/8 of a cup of tequila (I highly recommend to marinate the fish. The batter on this is amazing. Very crispy, but makes a nice pocket that steams the fish. I have given this to alot of friends. My teenage daughters ate this too.
