I don't think this is so good that I'd be craving it, but it's definitely good enough that I'd make it again as a side dish when I'm doing other Mexican food. So - pretty good.

It not for me. I've had much better Mexican/Spanish rice.

I made the entire meal and it was simply fantastic! I just love Guy Fieri and he fits in with the other network stars as though he has been there all the time.

I've never made from scratch, always the box stuff which leaves alot to be desired. This was so simple to make that when I get a hankering for mexican rice I'll definitely be using this recipe. And by the way Guy, you came to Wichita for your show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. You were on the front page of the newspaper and it was so much fun watching your show!! Thanks so much.

This is "dressed up" kitchen rice. It is very similar to what is eaten all over Mexico. Very good. Boo to those anonymous reviews; at least the girl that rates all his recipes and gives them top marks uses a name. Anonymous comments are best ignored; since it sounds like you just lost out on the food star competition.

This was really good! Lots of flavor going on, great texture (the rice stayed nicely separated, and it was very attractive with the bright red tomato bits and green onions. We checked the seasoning after it was cooked and only added a little extra salt. It was even better the next day! BTW, served it with Tyler Florence's carne asada tacos, which were also fantastic.
