    We love Mexican, Tex-Mex, Southwestern food, and rice is a favorite side. I've made a number of good recipes but this is absolutely tops. I served it to a group, including two folks from Mexico, and they said "Muy delicioso!"

    Delicious!! Needed something different for a side dish and this was perfect with our grilled marinated London Broil steak. The flavor was delicious and the rice cooked perfectly. My family enjoyed it very much. Thanks Guy!

    I am eating this right now and it is delicious. Perfectly seasoned, not mushy at all. And so easy to make! Don't change a thing if you make this! I will make this again and again!

    This recipe is better than the one ive ben making for years...the rice turned out perfectly,not at all mushy.My 4 yr old loves all rice and i was afraid this would be too spicy for him with the jalepeno but it wasnt at all...he loved it.i added 2 minced garlic cloves to the veggies when i sauted them..the only change i might make next time is to use a little less oregano,it was a bit strong for rice.Otherwise,a great recipe a step above ordinary ,bland spanish rice.What put it over the top for me, was the queso fresco..i had never used it before and didnt know what i was missing..ill be buying it regularly to top rice,ceviche,anything on a tostada.THANKS GUY..I LOVE YOUR SHOW AND I THINK YOUR GREAT!

    This rice is so good. I have been trying to master making a mexican rice for some time now. I haven't had much luck until I made this recipe. This is the recipe that I will always use. It is so easy too.
