An excellent recipe for very flavorful chimichangas! I add 1 tsp of cumin to the meat when it's simmering for even more depth and an authentic mexican flavor.

These things are incredible! I would make a huge batch and eat them all week..even cold straight from the fridge with a little tabasco on them..its makin me hungry just thinkin about them..Sometimes I would get out of bed and og eat one at like 11 at night because I couldn't stop thinkin about it..THAT GOOD..however..Cant make them like I used to because of a lame diet so Im looking for ideas on how to do a baked version..any thoughts? Guy? anybody?

I bought two large top rounds, even though it is a tougher cut of meat, because it was buy one get one free. I found this recipe and it looked like it would be good so I gave it a try. It was awesome! I will never make top round any other way again! My husband and I absolutely loved it - we both had to have seconds!

This is my first review on this site. I have made hundreds of recipes from here and loved almost all of them. But this one was worth taking the time to make a comment. They take a bit of time, but great food is worth it. Guy is quickly becoming one of my favs.

My husband doesn't like Mexican food that much but he loved this. The only thing I did differently was I cooked the beef in my slow cooker on low for 8 hrs. It was fairly easy to do and it turned out great. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.
