unless you have a deep fat fryer, the amount of potatos to fry is unwieldy, we modified this receipe to use baked prepared potatos, and it saved considerable time but it is a good and tasty dish for leftovers

I love this recipe and have used it for 2 years now. And I will use it again and again. If potatoes are too difficult to make, I sometimes use frozen hash brown potatoes. Sometimes, I use jalpenos and sometimes not. When you use fresh jalapeno peppers they are not as hot as you might imagine. I love this recipe because it is a great way to have leftover turkey. It is different than a traditional dinner of turkey, or the usual leftover turkey sandwich. And it is different than a conventional breakfast. It is a completely different meal. I love the squeeze of lime, it is adds a subtle yet unique taste. Very tasty dish!!

Totally flavorless. The potatoes were a pain to cook, they just all got stuck together. Lots left over, and we don't plan on eating it.

My husband made this this morning and it was wonderful. Unfortunately he didn't add the jalapenoes, but he wanted our 4year old to eat it. My hubby loves any kind of hash. I'm usually pretty indifferent but this I really liked. And I never would have thought to use turkey that way. We also do a ham on Thansgiving so hubby added ham to the mix too.

I love Guy's stuff anyway because if you leave out some of the spicy stuff, it's normal, unlike some of the other chefs, but this recipe was PERFECT! It was SO So so so good! And I LOVE citrus on top of stuff and I could not believe that he added the lime at the end. I actually squealed when he did that! I love how he includes Hunter when he can, too, but this dish is one that you just MUST try once! And it made everyone in my house happy - not just me, not just my husband, even the kids!! It's great!
